Glendale High School

·         Costumes:  Guys, you need to have tights, black unless we tell you otherwise. Girls, you need to have flat dress shoes, you know, the little simple ones you can get anywhere these days.

·         CHARACTER ANALYSIS – due March 24^th

·         Next week, April 8, Cast B leads for lead rehearsal.

·         The Week of April 20-25 ~ Glendale "Once Upon a Mattress" 

·         Dress Rehearsals – Mon-Wed, evenings (5-9 PM)

·         Performances – Thursday & Friday (7 PM), Saturday (2 & 7 PM)

Glendale Middle School

·         ALL LEADS FOR LEAD PRACTICE EVERY WEEK FROM NOW TILL THE SHOW!

·         We have scheduled two school shows for this cast. Both shows are at Guiding Light Christian School on April 15th. Both of them will take place during the regular rehearsal time so not much additional time will be required.

·         We will be meeting at First Christian Church at 12 Noon. Miss Jones, Mr. Rodriguez and myself will already be there to set up.  The shows will be over by about 3 PM and you can pick-up your kids by 3:30 PM. The show will be in place of the Wednesday dress. Parents are welcome to attend the shows if they wish.

·         Miss Jones is very concerned about the cast's readiness to perform. At this point she does not think they will be ready for their regular shows, much less the school shows on Wednesday. I would HATE to cancel these extra opportunities for the kids to perform but I would rather do that than present a less than quality product to these other students.  PLEASE hold your kids accountable to work on their lines and more importantly (right now) their lyrics and music. We will make a decision one way or the other this next week based on how well the kids do in practice.

·         The Week of April 18 ~ Glendale "Schoolhouse Rock"     

·         Dress Rehearsals – Mon-Wed, afternoons (1-5 PM)

·         Performances – Friday (7 PM), Saturday (2 & 7 PM)

·         Song analysis papers are due THIS WEEK! Late assignments will not be accepted, so please plan accordingly.

·         Lines should be memorized THIS WEEK! This includes song lyrics.
