B. Did You Know? The responsibility of the set designer involves coming up with an attractive, authentic, workable and expensive "looking" design for the set. He/she must then translate the design to a blueprint that the builder can work from. Consideration must be given to the needed functions of various components, for example, does a door need to open, does a window need to be painted or real? Once the set is built it is painted and "dressed" with plants, curtains, furniture, house pets, etc. Many thanks to Steve Rodriguez for introducing to MoezArt the idea that every set does not have to be black and use the stairs!
